1. THE MADE-TO-ORDER PROCESS
Q: Why does it take 40-50 business days to deliver my order?
A: At Fateh Fashion, we do not believe in mass-produced fashion. Every single ensemble—whether it is a heavy Zardosi Lehenga or a delicate Silk Co-ord set—is handcrafted specifically for you once the order is placed. This 40-50 day production window allows our master artisans in Jaipur to perform authentic hand-dyeing, intricate hand-embroidery (such as Gota Patti and Tamba work), and precision tailoring. Quality of this magnitude cannot be rushed.
Q: Can I get my outfit sooner for an upcoming wedding?
A: We understand that special occasions have strict timelines. While our standard window is 40-50 days, we occasionally offer “Priority Crafting” for certain designs. Please contact our styling concierge at [email protected] before placing your order to check if an expedited timeline is feasible for your chosen design.
Q: Is every product on the website made-to-order?
A: Yes, the vast majority of our heritage collections are made-to-order to ensure the highest level of personalization and freshness of fabric. If a specific item is “Ready-to-Ship,” it will be explicitly mentioned on the product page.
2. FITTINGS & CUSTOMIZATIONS
Q: How do I provide my measurements for a custom fit?
A: Once you select a “Custom Size” option, you can provide your measurements via our online form or WhatsApp. We recommend following our detailed Measurement Guide to ensure accuracy. If you are unsure, our styling team is available for a virtual consultation to guide you through the process.
Q: Can I customize the color or sleeve length of a design?
A: Personalization is at the heart of Fateh Fashion. In most cases, we can customize sleeve lengths, necklines, and even fabric colors to suit your preference. Please note that significant changes to embroidery patterns may incur additional charges and affect the delivery timeline.
Q: What if the garment doesn’t fit perfectly upon arrival?
A: We include a 1-to-2-inch margin in most of our tailored outfits (where the design permits) to allow for minor local alterations. Since the garment is made to the specific measurements you provided, we recommend utilizing these margins for the final perfect fit.
3. PAYMENTS & SECURITY
Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
A: Through our secure payment partner, Razorpay, we accept all major Indian and International Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking from 50+ banks, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.), and various mobile wallets.
Q: Is it safe to use my card on your website?
A: Absolutely. We use Razorpay, which is a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. Your sensitive financial information is encrypted and processed directly by the bank; Fateh Fashion never sees or stores your card or UPI credentials.
Q: Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
A: Since our products are “Made-to-Order” and customized specifically for each client, we do not offer Cash on Delivery. Production begins only after a confirmed payment is received.
4. SHIPPING & RETURNS
Q: Do you ship outside of India?
A: Yes, Fateh Fashion proudly ships to patrons worldwide, including the USA, UK, Canada, UAE, and Australia. International shipping rates and estimated transit times are calculated at checkout.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Because every garment is handcrafted to order and often customized to your size, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We only offer replacements in the rare event of a manufacturing defect or if the wrong product is delivered. In such cases, a clear unboxing video is required within 48 hours of delivery.
Q: Are there any hidden costs like Customs Duties?
A: For domestic orders within India, the price is inclusive of GST. For international orders, any import duties or local taxes levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are collected by the courier partner at the time of delivery.
5. PRODUCT CARE & CRAFT
Q: How should I care for my Fateh Fashion ensemble?
A: Our garments are made of delicate natural silks and feature heavy hand-embroidery. We strictly recommend Professional Dry Clean Only. Always store your heavy lehengas and sarees in a cool, dry place, ideally wrapped in a muslin cloth to protect the metal wires (Zari) from oxidation.
Q: Why is there a slight difference in the color of the product I received?
A: Digital screens vary in how they display colors. Furthermore, because we use artisanal hand-dyeing techniques, a 10-15% variation in shade is natural and serves as proof of a genuine handcrafted product.
